TRADITION- Marlene Linneberg was crowned this years’ Fjallkonan or “Lady of the Mountain” at the Icelandic Picnic in Markerville recently. The Fjallkonan symbolized what Icelanders thought to be purely Icelandic and is a tradition in Markerville.
