On Nov. 23rd at approximately 1:22 p.m. Innisfail RCMP were conducting routine compliance checks and discovered that a man bound by conditions to be on 24 hour house arrest was in fact, not home.
RCMP continued to look for this male and at approximately 4:30 p.m. police observed a suspected stolen vehicle driving near the male’s residence and observed the male they had been looking for exit the driver’s door. When the male was informed he was under arrest he attempted to run from police and after a brief foot chase was apprehended. The vehicle the male was driving was confirmed as stolen.
Jordan Kyle Glasgow, 18, has been charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000, obstruction, five counts of breach of recognizance, operating a motor vehicle while disqualified and driving an uninsured motor vehicle.
