On Nov. 6th the Innisfail Fire Department responded to a structure fire located in Innisfail. The structure was a residence that was unoccupied at the time of the fire. Extensive damage was done to the residence as well as the garage.

Innisfail RCMP were alerted by Innisfail fire services as to the suspicious nature of the fire . After an extensive investigation Innisfail RCMP have arrested and charged 31-year-old Joshua Cook of Innisfail. RCMP believe this was a targeted incident and do not believe the public to be at risk.

Cook is facing one charge of arson in relation to this incident.
