On Aug. 13th, shortly after 4 p.m., three adults and a 10-year-old child left Sunbreaker Cove on a boat, and approximately 10 minutes later a storm hit the lake. The boat was overturned and all four occupants were thrown from the boat. Three of the occupants were able to stay with the boat with the assistance of their personal flotation devices, and eventually managed to swim to shore. Groulx was last seen in the water and it is believed that he was injured as a result of the boat capsizing.
