Wintry road conditions wreaked havoc on the QE2 near Ponoka Saturday morning.
A semi tractor hauling lumber rolled at about 8:30 a.m., ending up blocking the northbound lanes. Cleanup of the rollover is expected to take some time, according to officials. 
Later, just before 11 a.m., a multi-vehicle collision in the same portion of the highway caused further issues in the southbound lanes. The severity of injuries is not known at this time.
Unofficial reports indicate there has been another collision involving motorists waiting for the traffic to clear.

The severity of those collisions is not known at this time, however emergency crew including the Ponoka County East District Fire Department and Ponoka RCMP are on scene.
It is not known how long it will take to clear the collisions. Motorists are being asked to use alternate routes.
